Besa

Besa Kokëdhima was born on 29 May 1986 in Fier, Albania. At the age of 15 she moved to the United Kingdom to continue her education before returning to a full-time music career.

She emerged in 2003 with her debut single “Më Beso”, which earned the “Mikrofoni i Artë” (Golden Microphone) award and launched one of Albanian pop's most durable careers.

Her music moves between pop, R&B, electronic production and ballads, sung largely in Albanian, and she is known as a powerful live vocalist.

Her studio albums include “Besa” (2006), “Evolution” (2011), the holiday record “Besa për festat” (2013) and “Ti je festa ime” (2014). In 2024 she released “Titan”, the English-language version of her Festivali i Këngës song “Zemrën n'dorë”.

She won Kënga Magjike in 2013 and the Golden Microphone for her debut single in 2003.

Besa has been a coach on The Voice of Albania since 2017. She represented Albania at Eurovision 2024, and in 2025 competed in San Marino's Una Voce per San Marino selection, reaching the final.
