Besa returns to the Eurovision race, this time via San Marino

A year on from representing Albania in Malmö, Besa kept her Eurovision ambitions alive in early 2025 — this time by entering Una Voce per San Marino, the microstate’s open national selection, with the song “Tiki”.

The competition draws artists from across Europe chasing San Marino’s ticket to Eurovision, and Besa made it through to the final stages of the selection. It was a reminder both of how strong the pull of the contest remains for artists in the Albanian-speaking scene, and of Besa’s own determination to get back to the Eurovision stage.
