Besa carries Albania’s flag to Eurovision 2024 with “Titan”
The Albanian singer represented her country in Malmö with a reworked, English-language anthem.
Besa represented Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden, performing in the second semi-final on 9 May.
Her entry, “Titan”, was an English-language reworking of “Zemrën n’dorë” — the song that had won her the Albanian public’s vote at Festivali i Këngës 62 the previous December. The staging drew plenty of attention, but the song did not advance from a competitive semi-final to the grand final.
The campaign still cemented Besa — an R&B and pop singer from Fier who has built her career between Albania and the UK — as one of the most recognisable voices to carry the Albanian flag onto the Eurovision stage. Explore her music on her Merx Music profile.
