Dua Lipa brings the world to Kosovo with Sunny Hill Festival

The festival she co-founded spotlights her Kosovar-Albanian roots and draws global headliners to Pristina.

Dua Lipa co-founded the Sunny Hill Festival with her father, Dukagjin Lipa, staging it in Pristina, Kosovo — with editions also held in Tirana, Albania — and channelling proceeds through the family’s charitable foundation.

The festival has drawn major international headliners to the region and become central to how Lipa has put Kosovo on the global music map; she has been named an honorary ambassador of Kosovo and granted Albanian citizenship. Explore her music on her Merx Music profile.
