Metallica bring the M72 World Tour back to Europe and the UK
The “No Repeat Weekend” stadium run swept Germany, Switzerland and the UK across May to July 2026.
Metallica spent the summer tearing across Europe on the 2026 leg of their M72 World Tour, the in-the-round stadium production built around the band’s “No Repeat Weekend” format — two shows in the same city, no song and no support act played twice.
The run touched three of the markets we track on Merx Music. In Germany the band played a No Repeat Weekend at Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park (22 & 24 May) before a Berlin date on 30 May; they stopped in Switzerland at Zürich on 27 May, and closed the tour in the UK with Glasgow (25 June), Cardiff’s Principality Stadium (28 June) and a two-night London Stadium finale on 3 & 5 July.
Support rotated nightly between Gojira, Knocked Loose, Pantera and Avatar. For everything else on stage across our markets this season, browse the live listings, updated daily.
